Of course! Never running out of tea is a good idea. We offer 15% off all subscriptions and ship out the first Friday of the month.
Loose leaf tea never really expires, but it can become dull or stale, and have reduced health benefits.
While black tea has the longest shelf life (1-3 years), we stand behind a 12 month time frame for the rest of our herbal blends.
To keep them fresh, store them in a cool, dry place.
Our teas are handcrafted, curated blends utilizing high quality ingredients from trusted growers. We strive to stay as local as we can when sourcing and always choose farms that uphold the sustainability practices we are passionate about.

Meet the Duo

We are a Mother-Daughter team with Nordic roots and have enjoyed a deep love of gardening across generations. Our Grandma Tangen brought her gardening skills from central Norway to her new home in Minnesota in the 1900s and our company was inspired by her passion for gardening for health and wellness.

In the generations since, there has been a continued love of organic gardening for health and wellness, a commitment to take care of the earth, and a commitment to take care of one another. It has been interesting over the years, as we continue to learn, and as we share practices with others, that Grandma’s old ways are constantly reinforced, and the things she valued are underscored. She and others like her, embodied the concepts of sustainability, social responsibility, ecological stewardship, minimal waste, small carbon imprint, and community outreach. She took good care of her garden, and her garden took good care of her. At Tangen Teas & Botanicals, we are similarly rooted and committed.
